Embrium has rapidly become a rising force in blackgaze, blending the atmospheric beauty of shoegaze with the raw intensity of black metal.

Their latest release, Timekeeper, follows a string of high-profile features, including a Decibel video premiere, endorsements from PRS Guitars and Bare Knuckle Pickups, and a sold-out album release show in San Francisco.

Since their 2021 debut EP, which landed on Metal Injection and Apple Music’s Breaking Metal and Fresh Blood playlists, Embrium has been pushing the boundaries of the genre. Timekeeper is the culmination of three years of creative exploration, drawing on literary themes of time, loss, the dangers of magic, the struggle of life, and the search for self-identity.
