ABOUT
Embrium is a rising force in blackgaze metal from the San Francisco Bay Area, weaving the lush textures of shoegaze with the intensity of black metal. Their new album, Timekeeper, marks a significant creative leap, anchored in themes of time, loss, the danger of magic, the struggle of life, and the search for identity.
Following a Decibel video premiere and positive press coverage from outlets like No Clean Singing, Female Fronted Power, and The Slaughterhouse, Timekeeper arrived alongside a sold-out album release show in San Francisco. Embrium has also earned endorsements from PRS Guitars, Bare Knuckle Pickups, and Gator Cases, reflecting their growing presence and influence in the metal genre.
Since their 2021 debut EP, which landed on Metal Injection and Apple Music’s Breaking Metal and Fresh Blood playlists, Embrium has steadily built momentum, pushing the genre’s boundaries through both musical ambition and emotional depth.

PRESS MENTIONS
“Timekeeper grabs and keeps your attention right from the start – it quickly becomes clear that Embrium already has that ‘it factor.’ I strongly urge you to put some time aside to give this one a proper, fully focused and engaged listen… you might just discover your new favorite band!”
“EMBRIUM’s debut pleasantly surprised me. It is complex and fresh enough to catch the eye of seasoned listeners, yet approachable enough to not seem too out of the realm of mainstream acceptance. I really enjoyed it and I think you will too.”
“Timekeeper will simultaneously draw in your conscious and subconscious – though at first you may not realize it. What is glaringly apparent while listening to this record is that it is composed and built with immense care by deadly serious, accomplished musicians. 10/10”
