Joey Menicucci Guitar Playthrough of "Awakened" at 2200 Studios

In May 2025, Joey and Monique of Embrium stepped into the legendary Studio B at 2200 Studios in Sausalito, CA (formerly known as The Plant) to capture two guitar playthroughs. In this video, Joey performs the lead guitars for our track “Awakened” inside this incredibly iconic space.

ABOUT STUDIO B: Studio B is a time capsule of the 1970s—its swirling multicolored fabrics, draped mirrors, and vintage acoustic treatments remain untouched, creating a visually and sonically iconic room. Known for its famously dry acoustic profile, this room helped shape timeless albums like Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumors” and Stevie Wonder’s “Songs in the Key of Life.” Designed by recording legends Gary Kellgren and Tom Hidley, the room’s acoustics offer unmatched clarity and warmth. It's no surprise artists like Prince, Carlos Santana, Peter Frampton and Steve Miller (plus many, many more) have all recorded here.
