Embrium Debut EP out NOW!

San Francisco’s newly-formed blackgaze band Embrium has released their debut self-titled EP.

Starting as a pandemic project founded by guitarist/vocalist Mosahefu, it was shortly after introducing the in-progress work to fellow musician and vocalist Jade Ordonez (ARCANE EXISTENCEDELIRIA) that the two decided to take the project live, recruiting fellow Bay Area musicians Joey Menicucci (VALENSOROW) for guitar and Alan Onymous (ZEROSTARS) on bass, with both later contributing backing vocals and synths. In January 2021, they stepped into the legendary Different Fur Studios alongside friend & session drummer Andrew Baird (of FALLUJAH) and recording engineer Grace Coleman. Enlisting in the assistance of Teemu Aalto Music Productions for mixing (INSOMNIUM, OMNIUM GATHERUM) and Jack Shirley of The Atomic Garden Recording Studios (DEAFHEAVENOATHBREAKER), Embrium developed their three song EP over the span of a few months.

Pulling influences from bands like AGALLOCHSWALLOW THE SUNALCEST, and many of the Sargent House roster, Embrium combines the beauty and simplicity of both clean & harsh vocals, with the ethereal quality of blackgaze to create something unique and fresh.

Their first single, Flight of the Damned, was released on April 30th, 2021. The self-titled EP was released on June 4th across all streaming platforms, including Bandcamp.
